Scouring the dying hard-drive of an old PC-9821, the remains of what appeared to be an early, nonfunctional build of a trial version of Embodiment of Scarlet Devil were uncovered. With a bit of hard work and dedication, the game has been put together in a working state again, having been translated and optimized to work on modern-day computers.

Why not take a look at what the game could've been?During a peaceful summer in Gensokyo, an unnatural scarlet mist appeared without warning. It covered most of the land, and was strong enough to block sunlight, too...

Wield the shrine-maiden-ly prowess of Reimu Hakurei, the extraordinary magic of Marisa Kirisame, and the █████████ ██ ██████ ██████ with ███ ███████ to solve the incident! Featuring 3 playable stages, dance through a unique iteration of the danmaku that introduced many to the beloved series.

Multiple playthroughs are encouraged.

This "recreation" was brought to life by everyone in Mirage Creators.
